Conservative Leadership Conference

The 2008 Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) announced today that Constitution Party presidential nominee Chuck Baldwin will be a speaker at the conference to be held in Las Vegas this September.

Charles “Chuck” Baldwin is the founder and pastor of Crossroad Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. He has hosted a weekly radio program “Chuck Baldwin Live” for close to a decade and a half. The broadcast is currently carried by 8 different radio stations in the Florida Panhandle, Southern Alabama, and parts of Central Florida.

Baldwin is a columnist whose political commentaries are carried by a number of websites, newspapers, and news magazines. His columns have appeared in national publications such as Insight magazine. Chuck’s articles are featured regularly on sites such as World Net Daily, Covenant News, News With Views, Alan Keyes’ Renew America, Gulf 1, Web Today and others. His columns also appear regularly in newspapers around the country.

Chuck has authored two books, Subjects Seldom Spoken On and This Is the Life, as well as numerous theological booklets. Dr. Baldwin has edited and produced The Freedom Documents. This volume contains over fifty of the most important and influential documents of American history.

Chuck has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and BBC television. Chuck has been featured in national magazines and newspapers such as Esquire, The Miami Herald, and The Washington Times.

Chuck attended Midwestern Baptist College and graduated from Liberty Bible Institute at Liberty University and a master’s degree from Christian Bible College. Baldwin holds two honorary doctor of divinity degrees- from Christian Bible College and Trinity Baptist College. He is also a past chairman of the Florida Moral Majority and was the Constitution Party’s vice presidential nominee in 2004.

Chuck and his wife Connie have three children and six grandchildren.
