Mon, Sep 1, 2008
The 2008 Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) announced today that eight public policy workshops, sponsored by various conserative oranizations, have been added to the conference to be held in Las Vegas next month. All eight workshops will be conducted on Thursday, September 18, concurrently with training seminars being taught by the Leadership Institute (LI).
“Putting on a two-track program on Thursday will allow attendees to select programs which best suit their interest,” conference director Randi Thompson said. “Grassroots activists interested in learning more about the nuts-and-bolts of campaign and lobbying activities can attend the LI seminars; people more interested in specific issues can attend the public policy workshops.”
The six workshops already scheduled and confirmed are:

Health Care Reform: The Good, the Bad, and the Very, Very Ugly
