Let me tell you briefly about a voice-mail I received this week to give you an idea of the “buzz” that’s going on out there. A gentleman describing himself as a lifelong conservative called to let me know what an “idiot” I was for inviting not only John McCain and Sarah Palin from the GOP ticket to speak next week at the 2008 Conservative Leadership Conference, but because we invited the Libertarian Party and Constitution Party presidential and party leaders to speak, as well.

The 2008 Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) announced today that eight public policy workshops, sponsored by various conserative oranizations, have been added to the conference to be held in Las Vegas next month. All eight workshops will be conducted on Thursday, September 18, concurrently with training seminars being taught by the Leadership Institute (LI).

Clymer is a private practice attorney living in Lancaster, PA. He has worked with national organizations committed to protecting religious liberty, including, the American Center for Law and Justice, National Legal Foundation, Rutherford Institute, Home School Legal Defense Association and American Family Association Law Center. He also serves on a number of boards including, The American Family Association of Pennsylvania and The Conservative Caucus.
Clymer currently serves as Treasurer of the Constitution Party of Pennsylvania and has been a Constitution Party candidate for office a number of times, including races for Attorney General in 2000 and U.S. Senate in 2004.
Jim is an instrument-rated private pilot, is an avid hunter and angler, and enjoys working on his farm. Jim and his wife Lois have five children and eight grandchildren.
